Welcome to Our Choose & Cut Christmas Tree Farm

We’re delighted to have you join us for a festive and memorable tree-cutting experience! Below you’ll find everything you need to know to enjoy your visit—from how to get started, to important guidelines, to identifying our tree species.

Before You Begin

All sales are final. No returns.
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.

When you arrive, our staff will provide:

  • A hand saw - chainsaws are not permitted, including battery-powered models.

  • A 10-foot measuring pole (first mark at 5 feet)

  • Twine to secure your tree to your vehicle

Please note: Due to insurance restrictions, chainsaws are not allowed and our staff is not permitted to tie trees onto vehicles. We’re happy to offer guidance, but securing the tree is the customer’s responsibility.

Cutting & Preparing Your Tree

Once you’ve selected your perfect tree and cut it down, bring it to our baling area. Here’s what happens next:

  • We will measure the tree with you, as it stands after cutting.

  • Our staff can trim the tree to help it fit your home or tree stand.

  • We will then bale the tree for easier transport.

Important Cutting Guidelines:

  • Please cut trees at ground level.

  • Do not cut high on the trunk or leave tall stumps.

  • No topping (cutting off the leader) is allowed in the field.

Pricing Reminder:
Trees are priced based on their height in the field, before any trimming. For example: If you cut a 9' tree but need it trimmed to 7.5', you will still pay the 9' price.

If you need help cutting your tree or transporting it to the baling area, just ask—we’re happy to assist.

Available Tree Species (5–8 ft)

Douglas Fir

  • Soft to the touch, dark green to blue-green needles

  • Needles are flat, approx. 1"–1.5" long, and radiate in all directions from the branch

  • Branches are more flexible and softer looking

  • A pleasant citrusy scent from needles

Norway Spruce

  • Sharp with points, rich deep green needles

  • Needles are four-sided (square), with slightly stiffer and more angular branches

  • Full, more traditional Christmas-tree appearance

Care Note: This tree requires heavy watering (twice a day) and a deep stand, as it dries faster than a Fir.
